Ingrid Koehler IDeAIngrid Koehler is an Improvement Strategist at the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA).  Her work focuses on:
•  Developing new approaches to sector-driven improvement and knowledge management through social tech and culture change
•  Supporting councils to enhance accountability, efficiency and improvement through social media.


She is an award winning community of practice facilitator and consistent champion of transparency and local democracy.  Ingrid has extensive experience working with councils to improve performance management and policy development including developing sector-led tools and resources.  She has led work on Customer Insight for the IDeA and LGA. 
Ingrid previously worked for the Audit Commission, developing several national reports, the London Borough of Brent and the Local Government Ombudsman.  She has an MA in Economics and Public Finance from the University of Tennessee.
