About Social Media
The social media space has been growing and gaining significant momentum in the past two years, it includes all the applications and websites that allow their users to connect, share and create their own content live online.
The main names that will spring to mind when looking at social media is MySpace, Facebook, Twitter and Linked In – and all are based on the idea and functionality of interaction and user generated content. What is sometimes not realized however is that the social media space is much wider than social networking sites – and people are gradually realising that there is a whole plethora of tools and software, both online and mobile, that can be used and utilised by people worldwide, and now it’s time that the political figures worldwide embraced them as well.
